The 119 South Band has had a few roster changes over the years.  Here are some photos of the many different incarnations of the group.  The current lineup is Robbie Bryant, lead vocals; Steve Mayo, acoustic rhythm guitar; Dave Short, lead guitar & vocals; Stevie Trent, bass; Keno Muncy, drums; and Jeff Lane, piano, organ and vocals.

Here's the lineup for the latter half of 2006:  Robbie Bryant, Steve Mayo, Dave Short, Stevie Trent, Jeff Lane and Mackie Johnson.  Near the end of 2006, long-time drummer of the band, Mackie Johnson, left the band.

At the end of 2005, Dave Short left the group and was replaced on lead guitar by Pete Bailey.  The band was beginning to gel with a new sound courtesy of Pete's Fender Stratocaster.  The band played a show at the Coalfield Jamboree on April 8th, 2006 which was Pete's debut with the band.  The show was taped for later radio broadcast and was hosted by WVOW's Erin Williamson.  The setlist of songs the band played that night included Red Dirt Road, Time Marches On, Third Rate Romance, 5 O'Clock Somewhere, Come A Little Closer, Fast As You, Take It Easy, Margaritaville, Lot Of Leaving Left To Do, The Fireman and T For Texas.  The show and Pete's debut with the band were both great successes.

On June 4, 2006, Pete was killed in an automobile accident.  He is sadly missed by the band.

Dave Short returned to help the band to fill its outstanding obligations. He remains the 119 South Band's lead guitarist today.

Stevie Trent joined the group on bass guitar in 2004.  Stevie had previous experience with another area band, Haven.

Jonathan McNeely, who first started playing bass with the band at age 16, left the group midway through 2004.  This picture was taken after the band played at a campaign fundraiser for Jeff Lane's magistrate election.

Near the end of 2001, the 119 South Band went from a five-piece to a six-piece band once again, adding Jeff Lane on piano, organ and vocals.  His addition to the band brought a fullness of sound that allowed them to play all of the songs from the How Far Love Can Go CD.

Here's another incarnation of the band featuring Robbie, Steve, Mackie, Jonathan, Dave and Davey Jo Kirkendoll, who added an additional guitar and vocals to the group.  Davey Jo is now an accomplished gospel singer/songwriter and remains friends with the band.
