We are a six-piece band featuring three-part harmony vocals. We offer a professional family-oriented show with the music everyone loves to hear. Currently, The 119 South Band is the house band for the Coalfield Jamboree at the Logan Theater in Logan, WV. This gives us an opportunity not afforded many other groups. We have opened for many of the biggest names in country music including Diamond Rio, Restless Heart, George Jones, Charlie Daniels, Tracy Lawrence, Joe Diffe, Tracy Byrd, Darryll Singletary, Marty Stuart, Highway 101, Andy Griggs, Chad Brock, Terri Clark and many others. Our sound and show are as professional as the biggest country stars. The 119 South Band would love to be part of your event. You can be certain that your crowd will enjoy hearing us. We play Current Country music (Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw), Classic Country (Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Charlie Rich), Classic Rock (Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Beach Boys), Country Rock (Eagles, Bob Seger, CCR) and Southern Rock (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker Band) as well. We hit most musical tastes and nearly every age group! Our show is professional and our sound is tight. Our first CD, How Far Love Can Go, featured all original songs written or co-written by lead vocalist, Robbie Bryant, and included the song Sparkle and Shine. We have just completed our second CD, Covers, which is filled with The 119 South Band's versions of songs like Margaritaville, Mustang Sally, Bad Bad Leroy Brown, Behind Closed Doors, Old Time Rock & Roll and more. The 119 South Band is an Associate Member of the West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals.
